Chris ‘Forever Young’ Whyte

“Mi, a stay forever young”, Chris’ eyes flashed with his proud maroon ancestry while he beat his chest, “yea mon, forever young”, and then he smiled.

We met Chris at Great Huts where he works, and immediately felt connected to him. He is a man of peace and has deep emotions for his children, his fellow-man, his ancestry, and a special little boy named Michael, who lives in the same community as Chris…Moor Town. On his days off from work, Chris also deejays; now hold that thought for a second.

Michael has special needs and was once shunned by society, because he was not ‘normal’. Now this is where Chris stepped in, instead of joining with others, he made a difference by taking Michael with him while he deejays. Chris became a mentor and now Michael is being accepted by others and his social skills are developing.

Chris made a huge difference, in his community, by standing up for what he believes in and he did it using music. Keep up the great work Chris…keep working Big Wonders in Jamaica

Yu done know Chris yu will stay forever young, yea man. Nuff Respect.
