Staying healthy at the beach is fun and extremely rewarding. Fun, because being at the beach is always fun, relaxing, and indulging. Rewarding…well who doesn’t want to show off their best beach body. So, here are a few tips to keep in mind while frolicking in the sand and sun. Trust me it will save you time and money.
Take a Walk:
Walking plays a vital role in staying fit and your heart will love it! Walking in sand can be challenging, because it’s loose your feet will always work harder to keep you upright. In turn, walking develops your leg and calf muscles. Plus the rewards from walking are monumental in; keeping your heart in excellent condition, your brain alert, and burning fat.
Play a Game:
Another way to also get cardio is to play a sport or game, which requires using physical and mental abilities. In addition this can be an outlet for relieving stress and an absolutely great way to meet people.
Take a Swim:
One of the best times to take a swim is after; walking, lying out, and/or playing a game, because by then you will be hot, sweaty, and ready to cool off. Swimming is the best workout there is, because it requires so much energy to move through water and proper breathing techniques. Thus allowing for a complete body workout…both physical and mental…and makes for better stretching. I find swimming keeps me in top shape and clears my mind of all worries.
Exfoliate:
Every time I go beaching I exfoliate…using sand of course. It makes perfect sense to use sand instead of expensive store brands…which do the same thing. Exfoliating gets rid of dead skin and dirt, allowing for a better tan. It also leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft for partying later, but body lotion or oil must be used after exfoliating. When scrubbing pay close attention to knees, elbows, and feet. Be careful not to exfoliate excessively, on dry skin, or after lying out all day in the sun; the best time is during a morning or afternoon swim.
Lying Out:
‘Too much of one ting, gud fi nothing’, now with that said, be sure to use sun block lotion to protect your skin from sun damage when lying out. The sun does offer; vitamin D, a nice relaxing at-one-with-the-universe feeling, makes muscles look even sexier, and makes skin look flawless. So, if you do want a sun tan, what I’ve found out will definitely leave you speechless…coconut oil and aloe vera mixed together is the best sun tan oil ever! Coconut oil is wonderful to use as an oil base and aloe to protect the skin. Boom! Easy, cheap, and it works better than most store-bought products by providing a natural way to tan. In addition, another way to keep skin healthy and smooth is to drink lots of water.
Follow these friendly tips and you will definitely have ‘no worries’, just pure relaxation and vibes. Yeah man 🙂
